Hot Chilli restaurant supports children's charity

September 17, 2017

A Bolton restaurant renowned for its Indian and Bangladeshi delights has confirmed that it will host a charity dinner in aid of children with heart defects and feeding issues.

The Bolton based restaurant Hot Chill supported by Bolton RISE have committed to hosting the event for Lagan's foundation a Horwich based charity that provides care, respite and support across the UK to families that have children with heart defects and feeding issues as part of a month-long "HEART BEAT" appeal.

The Charity was set up in 2012 shortly after its founder Carren Bell's daughter Lagan sadly passed away from a heart condition. Lagan's foundation is the only charity in the UK offering the services it does.

Hot chill restaurant will be hosting the charity dinner which will include a 3-course banquet with a selection of dishes from a newly launched menu. The dinner will also include evening entertainment by local DJ and entertainer Steve James as well as a charity raffle and auction.

Alom the managing director of Hot chilli said "We all have to make a living but life shouldn't just be about money. If we can make friends and help out people who are in need in our society whilst we are on our journey then we should do so and that's why I make every effort to support events like this and give back to our community"

The restaurant is no newcomer to charitable giving. They have hosted many charity events, provided food for local homeless people and provided water aid and wells in Bangladesh.

The team at Hot chilli hope the local people of Bolton will support the event by digging deep into their pockets to make a difference to peoples lives.

Tickets went on sale earlier this month and are in high demand so prompt booking is recommended.

The event will be held on Friday the 22nd of September 2017 at 7:00 pm. Bookings can be made by contacting Hot chilli on 01204 302491.

Dean a regular customer to Hot chilli who will be attending the event said "Hot chilli is a wonderful place. The atmosphere, food, drink and service is always exceptional. I am delighted to be attending the event that is for such a good cause. I know it will be a wonderful evening and a great party atmosphere"

If you cant make it to the event you can still support this wonderful cause and make a difference by donating directly to Lagan's Foundation via the donation page.

Lagans foundation offers advice, support and much-needed respite to families with children that suffer from heart conditions and feeding problems. These conditions affect 1 in 100 children across the UK. The charity provides free support but have a huge waiting list and urgently need funding to continue to deliver the service they do. More information can be found via the website.
